Work Ethic
Raised in an entrepreneurial environment, Christine began
working for her parents at the age of twelve. She is grateful for this opportunity because it helped her establish a
strong work ethic. To this day, this quality continues to serve Christine
in her endeavors. Christine has been known to say, "Everything
I ever needed to know about communicating with people was not found in college,
but in my parent's restaurant. Cleaning tables and slinging
pancakes wasn't all wine and roses - but it was in those moments I discovered
the beauty of a smile, a thank you, the great reward of treating someone
special and providing exceptional service." Prior to becoming
a personal coach, Christine worked for DreamWorks, SKG for ten years marketing
films. Her mentor created a strong supportive community that recognized
each team member for their contributions. The time Christine spent at
DreamWorks served to heighten her awareness of the importance in having a support system. Being held accountable gave Christine
the platform to strive for excellence while learning and enjoying herself in
the process. Even under stressful work demands and deadlines, Christine
discovered that by accentuating the positives, work can be fun!
Christine's personal and professional experiences along with her Coaching
education, provide the foundation for the Zes For Life focus.
Family
Christine considers herself extremely fortunate to have a career that allows her to spend time with her family as well as to coach amazing clients. Happily married, Christine understands the invaluable privilege of being present for her children (and dog!). Her two young boys are a daily reminder of the fact that insatiable curiosity and laughter go farther than any vitamin she may take! Without a doubt, Christine's family is both muse and motivator. Countless hours of hide and seek and super hero adventures keep Christine in touch with the little girl inside her.
Balance and Choice
As both a mother and a professional, Christine appreciates the challenges that both working in and outside of the home can present. She believes there is a delicate balance between self, family and work. Christine is aware of the special attention required to create a work/home life balance and has the utmost respect for people making difficult choices in that regard. She is a firm believer in the power of a clear vision and how, in the middle of LIFE, small steps can ensure success towards reaching a goal. "After all, striving for a goal is designed to stretch yourself in a positive direction - not set you up for failure. And as uber-busy individuals, we all know life does not stand still when you are reaching towards a new goal. There are times when a choice must be made to put things aside, to prioritize an immediate need, or to simply be present and focus on the moment." Christine has learned that when a choice is made that may distract you, your goals don't have to be placed on the back burner. With Christine's guidance, you can tap into the wisdom to know what is truly important for you. "Having a clear vision will gracefully carry you through the ebb and flow of life."
The Human Factor
In her book, "The Purpose of Your Life," Carol Adrienne writes, "Each life, because it is unique, is of equal value. We all dance the dance together". Christine's spiritual grounding allows her to appreciate the beauty of each individual's unique greatness. Christine values people and the power of learning from every encounter.
Unconditional support
Christine's commitment to her clients is to listen deeply and support them completely as they transform challenges into opportunities for learning. Being present and accepting is Christine's priority as she seeks first to understand each client's unique world. Christine gracefully combines her life experience and sense of humor with her coaching skills to assist her clients during their life journey. Christine believes that each individual holds the key to life's questions within them. She considers it an honor to join her clients on their path towards uncovering their answers together. She is there to help get rid of the "noise" in your head - the voice that is telling you "you can't...". Christine's clients walk away from sessions with the tools and resources to improve their current situations and with a support structure to develop and reach their own Higher Ground. Christine is available to support her clients through phone calls and email.
